Got snowed in yesterday. Once the roads cleared, Meghan and I tried to venture to Foxwoods for bingo, but it ended up being closed so we saw Avatar instead. It was probably one of the best movies I've seen in awhile and it totally pulled at my hippie heartstrings. Who the hell wouldn't want to watch a movie with six foot tall bioluminescent carnivorous plants in it?!
My parents okayed my trip to Charlotte for New Years Eve, so I'll be spending that weekend in Salisbury and heading back to Clemson the Monday morning before classes. I'm excited to take an English class and Spanish. I haven't had to do reading or speak a different language in awhile and I'm looking forward to it!
Christmas will involve some serious gift wrapping, a whirlwind trip up to Jen-ba's house and then home with Nana to unwrap gifts Christmas day with my family. Then a 3 day trip to Nashville, a day of packing, and I'm headed home! I know that my mother hates it when I call Clemson home, but how could I not? The majority of my things are there and the family that I've created down there is with me for most of the year. I miss coming home to roommates and the noise and girly smell of our apartment. My parents don't really understand what goes on in my daily life, nor how much I miss the people I call my family down South.
Also, Scott's did awesome with Christmas. Got my jersey and a pretty sweet hiking backpack. :)
