ONE MORE WEEK

Wednesday at 5:30 I can breathe. The semester's over, finally. It's like being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but at the same time it's a little scary. I have to make sure every-thing's turned in, make sure my grades won't flop, make sure I'm ready for the upcoming holidays, bowl trip, the new semester. I don't have half the presents I should. Scott knows about 2/3 of his which kind of sucks. I was hoping 2 of them would be a surprise, and it's a crap shoot as to when any of them will come in. All I can really look forward to is hopefully being the best girlfriend ever with next year's gift...

Tonight is band banquet! I got a really cute dress with jewelry to match. My ex-roomie (froomie as she likes to call it) is my date tonight. Kind of wish it were Scott but I definitely understand his reasons for not. It'll still be fun though. After my lab final I'm grabbing the decorations we still have in the uniform room, then coming back to pack for Tampa, then Linds is coming over and we're going over to Madren to decorate and then headed back to get all girlified and pretty. I'm excited to get my band jacket tonight and for some reason banquet always makes me feel christmasy and happy. :) 

Just keep your fingers crossed for a bowl that may allow me to have some semblance of a holiday season... GO TIGERS! BEAT GT!!!

Also, me and Scott finally have a picture or two. Is it sad that I'm excited about it? Probably. Sorry dear, you're getting posted on my blog. The tailgate after the USC game was a LOT of fun. I like hanging out with new, and some not so new, people. Also, Scott's parents were really nice. I liked spending time with them. Too bad the date that we were supposed to go on to end the weekend wound up being an epic fail for the 2nd time in two weeks. The Thai place we were planning to go to just never seems to be open, so we settled for Panchos and had a nice evening anyway. All this led to me getting sick because I did too much. Despite the hell Sunday night into Monday I think it was all worth it.
